My name is Courtney Bitmead, and I’m proud to be the Centre Manager at Kids Academy Cromer. With a Bachelor of Education (Birth to Five Years) and 8 years of experience in early childhood education, I am passionate about supporting children during the most important years of their learning and development.
What I love most about working in early childhood education is being part of each child’s unique journey. The first five years are such a significant time in a child’s life, and it is incredibly rewarding to watch children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and discover the world around them. I also value the strong connections we build with children, families, and educators, creating a supportive community where everyone feels welcome and valued. I lead with energy, pride, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of the families we serve.
One of the things that makes Kids Academy Cromer truly special is our wonderful multicultural team. Our educators come from a diverse range of backgrounds, bringing their cultures, languages, experiences, and traditions into the centre each day. This creates rich learning opportunities for children and helps foster an environment of respect, inclusion, and belonging.
