Our Kyabram Centre supports Variety’s ‘Hair with Heart’

Hair-With-HeAussie Kindies Kyabram

Inspired by young Chloe Guiney in her mission to help children with disabilities who recently took the chop as part of Variety’s Hair with Heart initiative, Affinity Education Group centre Aussie Kindies Early Learning Kyabram has hosted a week of crazy hair days in December 2021.

Chloe’s commitment to the intiative saw her donate 45cm of her rapunzel locks to be made into a wig for a child who has lost their hair due to a long-term medical condition and in doing so, she raised an inspiring $3,261 to help kids living with disability, chronic illness and disadvantages.

Chloe’s mother, Larressa Guiney, is a valued team member at Affinity Education Group’s Aussie Kindies Early Learning in Kyabram and has expressed that she is beyond proud of Chloe’s achievements.

“Her dad and I are very proud of her achievement and selfless efforts in helping those in need. It is so inspiring. We are overwhelmed by her kindness to do something like this for other children.”

Centre Manager Holly Butler said the centre’s staff, children and the local community rallied around Chloe to support and celebrate her fundraising efforts.

“Chloe has such a big heart and we’re glad we could do a little bit to support her amazing efforts. Even the local community also got involved, with Fitzgerald's Farm Fresh Meats donating sausages and meat so we could host a BBQ to celebrate.”

Congratulations Chloe and the team of Aussie Kindies Early Learning Kyabram!
