Welcome to Kids Academy Doncaster East, our qualified educators and teachers are trained in the Lifelong Learning Curriculum for ages 0-5. We nurture a lifelong love of learning through a combination of play-based and intentional teaching experiences which help your child develop Social Connectivity, Emotional Confidence, Foundational Learning and Physical Health and Wellbeing.
We provide individual care and attention to children in our baby nursery, toddler program, and Kindergarten/Preschool, ensuring they receive the best possible start to their early education. We also offer flexible care options that suit the routines of busy families. Our university qualified early childhood professionals are on staff, focusing on school readiness to prepare your child for their next educational step.
You can stay connected with your child\'s progress and receive updates about their day through our family communication app, Storypark.
Our Early Learning Centre has a range of inspiring environments for children to explore, including spacious outdoor play areas that encourage children to test their limits, build strength, and develop self-confidence. We also offer a range of incursions and excursions, including fitness and health, animals and nature, and the larger community. We provide fresh and nutritious meals to the children each day.

Nursery
Your child's lifelong learning journey starts here! Our nursery provides a warm, safe environment for your baby to learn and grow. Caring and gentle educators will develop nurturing relationships with your baby, so your child will develop trust and a sense of belonging.
Toddler
Our centre provides a stimulating and fun environment to enhance your child's learning in their early years. Learning starts long before school, with the first five years of a child's life being crucial to laying the foundations for their ability to learn throughout their later years.

Preparing for primary school is one of the most important times in a child's life. Our Lifelong Learning Curriculum School Readiness program stimulates young minds, builds confidence, resilience and positive self-image, and supports children's transition to school.

I started working in the Early Childhood Sector in 2011.

I hold a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) from Deakin University.
What makes you passionate about Early Childhood Education?
Working in early childhood education is my passion because I firmly believe that education
has the power to transform lives, and it all begins in those crucial early years. It is a field that fills my
heart with joy and purpose. By creating a nurturing and supportive environment, I have the privilege of
helping them build a strong foundation for their future success. Every day, I am inspired by their
curiosity and eagerness to learn, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in their
lives.
What is your most memorable moment at the centre?
It is the annual graduation ceremony for the kinder children. It holds a special place in my
heart as I witness these young minds, whom my team has nurtured and guided, take their
first steps towards the next chapter of their educational journey. It fills me with immense
pride and joy to see their bright smiles, the twinkle in their eyes, and the sense of
accomplishment radiating from them. The kinder children's graduation is a celebration of
growth, resilience, and endless possibilities, reinforcing my passion for early childhood
education.
Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents?
Our people - For over a decade, our dedicated team has been serving the local community with
unwavering commitment. We take immense pride in the continuity provided by our long-term
educators, who have been instrumental in shaping the educational journeys of countless children
throughout the years. Their wealth of experience and unwavering dedication ensure a stable and
nurturing environment where children can thrive and families can trust in the consistency of care. Our
centre is proud to have a team of highly qualified and dedicated staff members. Both our senior
leadership team and Affinity heavily invest in the ongoing professional development of the educators.
Relationships with families and local community-At our early learning centre, we prioritize building
strong relationships with families and external communities. We highly value the involvement of our
families in every aspect of our learning program. We actively encourage them to participate and
contribute by engaging them in our Creative Arts Competition, where they had the opportunity to vote
for their favorite entries just this past March. Furthermore, we foster a sense of togetherness by
organizing center events like our annual Christmas Party and Kinder Graduation, which provide
enjoyable opportunities for our families to bond with one another and with our staff.

- I am a comedy enthusiast!
- I was a Kindergarten Teacher for 8 years, and an Educational Leader for 2 years

- I can also speak Mandarin and Cantonese.
