Welcome to Kids Academy Early Learning Kedron
Conveniently located at 26 Lawley Street, Kedron, near Chermside Shopping Centre and public transport options, Kids Academy Kedron offers early education and care for children aged six weeks to five years. We’re open Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging space where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Our experienced and caring educators are passionate about supporting every child’s unique journey. Through our exclusive Lifelong Learning Curriculum, we create meaningful, play-based learning experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning — all while focusing on emotional wellbeing, creativity, and communication.
Children enjoy bright indoor learning spaces, exciting outdoor environments, and fun weekly incursions such as Kinetic Kids, Orizuru Japanese Lessons, Hush Little Babies, and Dan's Land Music Program. We also run a Bush Kindy program at nearby Bradbury Park, which feels like an extension of our playground and is where we host special events like Mother’s Day and Easter celebrations.
Our team proudly reflects the diversity of our local community, and we celebrate a wide range of cultures and traditions throughout the year with support from our families. We also maintain strong connections with local schools, including Wavell State School, and offer a government-approved kindergarten program to support a smooth transition to primary school.
Children enjoy fresh, nutritious meals prepared onsite, and above all, their safety and wellbeing are our top priorities.

Meet Our Team
Meet Jess and Emily, Director and Assistant Director at Kids Academy Kedron.
Combined, Jess and Emily bring over 25 years of experience in the Early Childhood sector, and they are both deeply passionate about providing safe, nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Jess has been a part of the Kids Academy Kedron community since the centre first opened its doors in March 2020, while Emily joined in early 2023 and quickly became an integral part of the team. Together, along with our dedicated staff, they are committed to creating an environment that feels welcoming and nurturing for all families, fostering a true sense of belonging.
Jess holds an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and as a parent of two young boys, she understands firsthand the importance of quality care. She believes in a holistic approach to child development, where every child’s individuality is valued. At Kids Academy Kedron, we encourage children to explore, make decisions, and take ownership of their learning journey, empowering them to reach their full potential.
One of Jess's fondest memories is our Easter celebration at Bradbury Park, where families came together for delicious food, live music, face painting, and an Easter egg hunt in the Enchanted Forest. This event truly reflected the strong sense of community we cherish.
Both Jess and Emily are committed to creating an environment where every child feels supported, confident, and ready for the next steps in their educational journey. Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program
Grounded in attachment theory and relationship practices, this program focuses on building secure, responsive relationships between babies and their educators. With nurturing care and emotional attunement, we support babies’ overall wellbeing and development.
Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
Through Project-Based Learning, children are encouraged to explore big ideas, solve problems, and collaborate with others. This hands-on, inquiry-driven approach develops critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning that lasts.
