Meet Our Centre Manager

Hi, my name is Jaina Shah and I am the Centre Manager here at Kids Academy Blacktown. I have worked within the industry for 10 years and hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

My passion for childcare stems from a deep-rooted commitment to nurturing and empowering the youngest members of our society, knowing that the work we do today has the power to shape a brighter tomorrow. I'm deeply passionate about creating nurturing environments where children can thrive and reach their fullest potential. My journey in early childhood education began in 2013 when I embarked on my diploma qualification, and since then, I've been driven by a profound belief in the importance of the early years in shaping a child's future.

What fuels my passion is witnessing the incredible growth and development that occurs in young children when they are provided with the right guidance, support, and opportunities for exploration.

Building strong relationships with both children and parents, supporting them through challenges, and celebrating their achievements are moments that inspire me each day.

At Kids Academy Blacktown, we prioritize the safety and well-being of the children and strive to create a stimulating environment that fosters exploration and creativity. We recognize that each child is unique, with their strengths, learning styles, and interests. Our engaging curriculum is designed to provide a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive in their exploration and learning. We offer a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor play, and STEM-based learning, to keep children enthusiastic about learning. Our qualified educators are committed to nurturing the emotional, social, and physical development of each child, in addition to their academic growth, through a holistic approach. They tailor their teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring that every child reaches their full potential.

Lifelong Learning Starts Here!

Kids Academy's bachelor qualified teachers and experienced educators are trained in Affinity Education's Lifelong Learning Curriculum, Australia’s most advanced approach to early education for children from birth to age five. The Lifelong Learning Curriculum draws on the best models of early education, contemporary research and evidence informed practices such as Circle of Security, Abecedarian, and Project Based learning, and is based on what children learn, where they learn and how they learn. It aligns to Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework and offers a rich combination of play-based and intentional teaching experiences appropriate to each age group.

Your baby will start their lifelong learning journey with us in a safe, nurturing environment. Educators will:

  • Develop strong, positive bonds;
  • Encourage confidence to explore new surroundings;
  • Spark curiosity through sensory experiences; and
  • Establish helpful routines that support health and wellbeing.

Early Experiences

Toddlers aged 1-3 years

Your toddler will enjoy an exciting environment in which to explore and experiment as their confidence and social skills emerge. Educators will:

  • Support self expression through language skills; and
  • Develop social and friendship skills in group settings.

School Readiness

Children aged 3-5 years

Your child will be given the very best start before they begin primary school! Educators will:

  • Guide self-awareness, self-help skills and socialisation;
  • Investigate literacy, mathematics, science, technology and the arts;
  • Stimulate creativity, deeper thinking and problem solving; and
  • Prepare children for classroom environments through play-based preschool and kindergarten programs.

We offer a government approved kindergarten (also known as kinder or preschool in some states) program and long day care under one roof. This is not only more convenient for you, it helps children prepare for the transition to 'big school', develop a love of learning and make friends.
