Fresh, Seasonal Food Prepared With Care

At Kids Academy, we know that good nutrition fuels confident learners. That’s why all meals are prepared onsite each day by our dedicated Centre Cooks, using fresh, seasonal ingredients children enjoy.

From babies exploring their first tastes to preschoolers serving themselves at the table, mealtimes at Kids Academy are calm, social, and designed to help children build healthy habits for life.

Our Seasonal Menu

Our menus change with the seasons so children enjoy fresh, tasty ingredients and the best nutrition every day. Each day includes:

  • A balanced breakfast
  • Morning tea
  • A nutritious lunch
  • Afternoon tea

You’ll see plenty of colourful veggies, fresh fruits, whole grains, lean proteins, plant-based options, dairy and alternatives, healthy fats, and of course, lots of water!

This summer, we’ve refreshed our menu in collaboration with The Biting Truth, Accredited Practising Dietitians and leaders in early childhood nutrition. With over 10 years of experience working with early learning services, they know how to create meals that are nutritious, practical for cooks, and loved by kids.

Mealtimes at Kids Academy

Mealtimes are an important part of the day at Kids Academy - calm, welcoming, and filled with opportunities to learn and connect.

Our educators support children to:

  • serve themselves when they’re ready
  • explore new foods without pressure
  • chat and share stories with friends
  • practise manners and turn-taking
  • use cups, bowls, and utensils with confidence

Educators eat alongside the children, modelling healthy habits and encouraging positive experiences with food. We also work closely with families to meet all allergy, dietary, and cultural food needs.
