Fresh, healthy meals are prepared onsite each day to support wellbeing and energy for a full day of play and learning.
Open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, Kids Academy Kensington is trusted by local families for our caring team, engaging curriculum, and focus on each child’s unique learning journey.

Meet Our Team
Hi, I’m Doreen Macafee and I’ve been working in the Early Childhood Education sector for over 15 years, and most recently as a service manager for the last 7 years. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood, with a passion for supporting children’s learning and development. I have been privileged to work in partnership with families to support their children through their early years journey.
My personal philosophies derive from the importance of connection, and respectful interactions with children, their families, different cultural backgrounds, and the community that surrounds us. We provide the highest quality care and education for children when we work with the families, using your input into our programs will enhance the effectiveness of what we do to support your child’s growth from the day they start. “It takes a village to raise a child” - with 2 young boys of my own I understand the trust and confidence you place in the hands of the Educators, I want to make the transition as smooth as I can, whilst building the foundation of a great relationship and connection between home and childcare.
We want to be able to support children’s learning in a caring, nurturing a responsive environment that helps them grow and develop in the early years, ensuring they have the best start to their journey into primary school. I’m very excited about our journey forward, establishing our service within the community.
